This is just an addendum to the instructions you'll get with the kit. They are very detailed and the pipe install is nearly the same as the Injen tutorial. So I'm just adding some tips from my experience.

Engine
- When removing the vacuum tubes from the airbox there's the cluster with two up top and three down low behind the radiator. The three down low going into the vacuum vlv are a bitch to get back on. If you decide to remove them, mark the three hose positions first. (high, low, bottom) If you're planning on swapping back to stock often, consider just tying them off and/or stuffing them in the empty catch tank under the battery. (You're not using that any more.) That will make the switch to stock about a 15 min. event.

- VSV #3 is the one that Injen says remove and cp-e re-mounts at the base of the intake mount. No, you don't need it but your ECU will store an error code if it's not connected. No CEL but it's in there if anyone taps your OBDII. Completely your option to keep it or box it.

- keep the original MAF screws in the stock airbox. Don't want to lose those. There's only 3 lose stock screws to manage besides that for the whole airbox rig.

ECU taps.
- Three harnesses go into the ECU. Despite the pictures, it's easier to work the lowest harness after removing the top two. You can tug a bit and get another inch to work with. All connections are on that one harness I think (mine's proto and has a different 12V)

- These are pretty easy with the 3M connectors in the kit. Mark or note the connections as you do it for easy removal and reconnect. I color coded them w/ sharpies.

- The MAF wire (the only one you cut) is the red wire. This is the one that needs to be reconnected if you go to stock or an Injen pipe. Rather than fasioning a jumper you can use Male on one end and Female on the other (with the appropriate counterparts on the customizer wires). Then to bypass, disconnect the two customizer wires and reconnect the MAF wires. Again, this cuts the reversal time and prevents having to keep track of your jumper wire.

- Make sure you don't ever run the pipe without the customizer! That'd be bad... m'kay?
