For anyone that does not want the ECU controlling the ground, here are some more pics. Note, I cut the wire, but did not ground, I just connected the wire back together. I didn't bother. Everything works the way I want it to.

However, if you do want to, (maybe it would allow the fogs on even with the high beams on) here are some pics.

Turn the steering wheel enough to reveal this screw.



Turn the wheel the other way, and remove the exact same screw on the other side. (no photo, sorry, lol)






Important:
This is the wire you will cut. Ground the side coming out of connector pin 10.

View of the connector: You don't need to remove or unscrew the switch itself, thats just the best picture I could find.




Remember, Connect Pin 10 to ground, and you should be golden!

Tell me what difference it makes once you are done!

Thanks for the write up, but good goddamn that's a lot of work to do this!! On my Tundra it only took a single jumper wire at the fuse/relay box to do the same thing! Wonder why they had to make this so difficult to track down and bypass?
