Just curious as to whether anyone would want these... I figured they're just there gathering dust...

I don't even know how much to ask for since they're not in mint condition...

One wheel has a huge gash on one spoke (2-3 inches) from a curb (may be able to buff out? I don't know...)

There's curb rash on at least one other one... I'll check more closely and get pics once I get a chance...

Driven around 15,000 miles on the stock tires... oh yeah, Bridgestone... Turanzas?... (no burnouts!)

Realistically, how much do you think I can get for them? (Input from non-potential buyers as well, please)...

As always, if I decide to sell, best offer (that's worth the hassle) takes it...

PS I really don't want to ship these... if someone local is interested, I can show you in person...

PPS I'm heading down to SoCal labor day weekend... so if anyone along the way is interested, we can arrange for a personal delivery...

Here are some pics:

Wheel 1... with the gash and some curbage...

Wheel 2... no known problems...

Wheel 3... small curbage

Wheel 4... no known problems...

Didn't take pics of the tread on the last two because it's the same as the others... now... PM up your offers :)

I sold mine back in May of '04 for $650 shipped from VA to FL, but they only had 150 or so miles on them and they were flawless.

How much thread is left on the tires, From what I know the bridgestone tires have very bad thread life.

Also if you have pics it would be easier to sell the wheels.
I may be interested in picking these up from you depending on condition.

I will be heading up north in about a week so I can pick them up while I am up there.
Thanks

Here's an Idea

Postby JMSinMaryland » Wed Aug 23, 2006 5:26 pm

The whole 'penny concept' is to hold it upside down. If you can see the top of Lincoln's head while the penny is upside down you're low on tread.

I WOULD take them but then i'd be copying Sapz idea.
where many hate, few will love,
But for those who love,
they'll see what it's like to live.
