Title says it all, I have three copies of the original navigation disks for sale. Price is $45 shipped via paypal. The originals cost $329.99 so this is a great bargain. These are the newest navigation update disk. It includes a firmware update that makes your navigation a little quicker and browsing through your mp3 a little quicker. Please pm me if you're interested. This is a first come first serve basis. I will have more copies available soon so for those of you who don't get in this time, so check SG every day as I will keep this thread updated. This is for Eclipse navigation unit only, not for Toyota oem navigation systems. Thanks.

I don't want to be an ass or anything but if anyone has the 30D it will freeze the screen in 20 min of using the updated disc. I don't know if it just my navi or not. yes i have the real update navi 2.1.

Hmm, that's strange, it shouldn't do that. It works well in my AVN50D and I make weekly trips down to San Diego.

update: two copies pending, one copy left

More copies will be available depending on demand. I will post instructions on how you can customize the startup screen sometime this weekend.

When you say the startup screen, what do you mean? The opening with the Eclipse logo? What kind of customization are you talking?

Do you know of a bypass for the "I agree" screen? I've got the 5510.

Hey Astro,

What I mean by customizing the startup screen is when the Eclipse logo appears when you start the car. I have no idea how to bypass the "I Agree" screen.

Okay, I said I was going to post instructions on how to change the boot screen. This was taken from 4runner.org since I had lost my word document containing the instructions:

The image displayed on the opening screen (which is displayed when the power is turned on) can be changed to a Jpeg image stored on a CD-R/RW.

Step 1> "When storing the image data in a CD-R/RW disc make a text file named "CSM.txt" (any content /text is OK) and store it together with the image data.
To create this necessary file, open Microsoft Notepad In Accessories. The text data within the file does not matter. Simply save the file as "CSM.txt" and Include the file on the same disc with the image or images you wish to use for the Opening Screen.
Tip: If you need to modify the image to fit the AVN screen, you can use Microsoft Paint in Accessories or any other image adjustment software.
Format for the disc and image data:
- File size: smaller than 100KB
- File name: ISO9660 standard (keep file name less than 18 characters)
- File extension: .jpg
- Max image size: 416(W) x 240(H) pixels
Step 2> Burn the image or images you want to the CD-R/RW along with the CSM.txt file. Keep the files on the root of the CD – do not store them in folders.

Changing the Welcome screen
Eject your DVD disc from the AVN unit and insert your newly created CD-R/RW disc. It will only take a few seconds to read the image data. DO NOT turn off the ignition key or power down your AVN unit during this time.
A screen will come up saying “Opening Image Change” – touch that button. The names of the images you burned to the disc should now be visible in a list. Simply touch the name of the image you want to use as your Welcome screen. The screen will change to confirm your selection. Confirm your change by pressing “OK”.
Be sure to remove your image disc before turning your AVN unit off.

I have more of these discs available if anyone is interested. Again, these are $45 shipped via paypal. Thanks.
