MCOjerry wrote:Jeff, the iPod plug on the 07 is in the litle cubby hole, not on the HU. So, you wouldn't have a connection on the HU. However, that plug in the cubby hole must connect somehow to that back of the HU, so I'd bet you could easily connect some kind of adapter.

You could fix that broken piece with some superglue, put some spackle on it, sand it down and buy a silver pen to color it in

The OEM setup had it's own version of AUX2CAR going into the CD changer port. So buying the '07 HU doesn't really get you anything toward that.

Also... NO!!! You can't swap faceplates from Gen2 to Gen 2.5. See the pics on the end of the tutorial thread. There's a buttload of electronics in that "faceplate". You might be able to buy the plastic front, but I wouldn't be suprised if they only part out the HU as a whole.

I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't wanna sell the face plate alone either but i'll bump it one last time.

If no buyers then i'll try ebay, and if that doesn't work I guess i'm gonna have to be doing some wiring to get it to work (possibly).
