Man, it is amazing what you find in your attic. I have a 2004 Gen 2 boot cover for the Gen 2 solara convertible in gray. Never been used before.

Good luck man - if it was a better design, I"d consider having a backup, but I just so friggin hate the gawdam design of that boot!! I don't know what they were smoking when thay came up with that POS!! :o

I looked at those before I got the Solara. Nice car but a bit too much for my pocketbook. If I was to get a BMW it would be the M6 anyway. ;)

I've used it twice - both times were for SoCal meets. Otherwise it never goes on because its not only a PITA to put on, but it looks so friggin FUGLY! It doesn't fit right at all - like somebody gave someone else a verbal description as to how to make it overseas and they still try to make it fit somehow. I swear it was not designed for this car it fits so absolutely bad. What were they smoking??? :o

I had a Z3 and two 3 series convertibles. I gotta say... I like my new Solara better..... I know the all out performance on the bimmer is better.... but I'm an old dude, and the Solara goes faster than I need to. I love the extra room, and the bigger trunk.

It's not a chick magnet like my bimmer's were... but I'm past chasing the chicks that were just into my car.....

Me too. Two Elmhurst Show/SG meets. The thing is such a pain to store and adds another 4" of crap to look over. On the way to the meet, I could barely see the top of the camry behind me!
