SOLD: Smoked Taillights...

So... in anticipation of the LED taillight conversion, I've been wondering how much I could get for my smoked tails (smoked by me using VHT Niteshades...)

They're in pretty good condition, although there are some areas that are chipped (the light, not the paint)... but the chipped areas are on the inside (you can't see it from the outside, and you'd have to be looking for them to even find them...)

So... how much do you think I can get for them? How much would you pay?

I was hoping for something around $50-$100 to put towards the LED fund... (still saving for a wedding, so if you want, you can think of it as a wedding gift by buying it off of me ... maybe more?

I figured even if you were to do this yourself, it'd cost about $15 for the paint itself... is your time worth the extra $35+?

(PS I figure if I can sell this and the grills, I'm well on my way...)



I can take closeups if anyone's interested... (those that have no intention of doing the LED swap-out)

It's a lot darker (although not as dark as they can be)... I guess you'd have to compare them to a stock pair to really see the difference... I'll see what other pics I can get...

For comparison, not exact same lighting, but you get the idea...



(I might just have to find another Gen 2, pull up besides it and take shots with both of them in there...)

Do your black grill lose some paint chip ? You must repaint it sometime ? Are you using no-contact car-wash ??

Smoked taillights is my next mods...I wouldn't know what to do with 2 set of taillight. I think I'll risk it make it myself...if I miss and you still have it...hehe I'll ask buy you !

take a pic of ur tails outside in the sun and not in the garage for better pix to see how really dark they are. bump4 u

Yeah discoloration, I lived that too...I re-installed the stock grill

BTW did you use the TRD springs only to drop your ride ??
If so, how it is ? (starting with the fact that you have the SLE struts)
