I don't actually own a Solara, though I do appreciate a good Supra. I did however hit a Solara when I was cutting across traffic and he stopped suddenly. Just barely clipped his right tail with my handlebars enough to break it. Damn plastic lenses, I miss the good old days of glass.

Anyhow, I'm looking for somewhere I can buy a used 04 Solara tail light for cheap. My initial searches were unsuccessful and Ebay only seems to have left tails. I plan to install it myself, since the complexity should be significantly less than an engine swap, but if you have any links to tail light removal DIYs for this car, please link me!

Thanks, even though it's not my car, you are helping a Solara owner.

You sound like a nice person to do all this research for somebody else. Just out of curiosity, Was it a friend's Solara you bumped?

Not anyone I know, but it was someone on my college campus (UCF) so it may as well have been! I'm quite a gearhead and I know if someone hit my car I'd want them to do the same!

Good luck getting them cheap - check out how much you'll get charged at the dealer for them! ;)

You're from Orlando. Me too.

You are now saddled with the responsibility of telling the owner of the Solara about SolaraGuy.org and forcing them to join  I am ASTONISHED no one has brought this up yet.

You have a couple of guys who have tail lights that will fit and have offered. Both are great guys.

Thanks for the well wishes and offers, I haven't heard from the guy but I'll let you know when I do, and I'll be sure to mention this website.
