Wanted TRD Struts

Wanted TRD Struts

Hi guys,

I was wondering if any of you have any hook ups for TRD Struts. I need the front ones for sure, since the passenger side one is crapping out on me. Also, if you could give me a price on the rear ones, I would also appreciate it.

Thanks.

I was afraid of that.

Well, my car already has the TRD lowering springs installed, with the stock struts. The stock struts aren't maid to be lowered, so hence the life of the strut being cut shorter than normal.

I replaced the rear struts before witht the SE Sport struts, but those are also not as good as the TRD struts. Maybe I will just replace the front struts and repalce the TRD springs with the stock springs that are sitting in my garage, cuz coilover are too expensive, and my car has been reduced to commuter car. Not worth the money anymore.
I hate having to raise my car now. :(

Not anymore. But they did have them before, in very limited supply, then all of a sudden, poof, gone. They used to be listed on the TRD website.

Milt, you still got those SE struts for sale?

kgzero, you got two options, keep checking for some SE struts on here Toyota Nation, etc for people upgrading to JIC magics or Tein coilovers.

Or get some Tein coilovers yourself for about $1,200, sell your TRD springs, thus "ONLY" spending about $1,050 :)

Dude, there were NEVER any aftermarket struts for our Gen2s... if you saw some I think they were a misrepresentation... seriously.
Your best bet are some SE SPORT OEM STRUTS... I had them on my Solara for a while and they worked great with my TRD springs... PXL now has them and he can tell you how they still perform.

I guess I was wrong.
I could have sworn I saw them on the TRD site, and the Toyota parts dealer (I know they aren't the smartest people, so...) asked me if I wanted to orders some TRD struts when I replaced the back ones. I settled for the SE Sport ones since I had to wait a while to get the TRD ones (according to him).
Whatever, SE Sport struts it is. Thanks guys.
