I am getting closer and closer to the time to buy a car

what type of gas do you get in it? im gonna be doing a ton of driving. (45 minutes each way to school)

I use 94 octane all the time.

My solara is daily driver, but it takes only 5 min from my house to work.
I usually take her out for longer drive to cincinnati or just to middle of no where in corn field just to enjoy the feeling of flooring gas!

Hey,
If I'm not mistaken in the pictures that are up you have two different front grilles installed . A silver one and then a black one. I was wondering if you have the silver one installed or not and if not , if you would be willing to sell. Thanks.

I have replaced the silver grilles to the black one and i do not have silver one with me any more.

also, I am planning on start pulling out some parts.
I will post them on the first page as i part out.

You can't take the tails without the headlights! It's a matched set. :-?

yeah, I prefer someone taking both headlights and tails together.
I just finishing pulling things out of my ride, so will post some pictures and pricing tomorrow to the first page.

so far, things came off is

One of the kinds Gold plated headlights and matching painted tails.

If no one's interested, I will trade in my solara to the dealer on thursday.
(it seems some guys at a dealer's interested in my ride. they offered me better price than any other dealers i took it to, and also specifically asked me to leave any of the turbo related parts.. Sorry i20solara02i, they wanted me to leave the boost gauge if i trade in)

so... anyone wants to entertain me with some offer?

oh btw, the next ride i'm getting is 2005 RX-8 w/ GT Package
as i promised to my wife, I'm not going to mod it :drinking:

and Brian, the RX-8 forum you told me is not helping me for that matter....

lol! rx-8 is dope too. Let me know how much you'd consider letting go of your unique headlights and tails for. I'm very interested. Too bad you couldn't get rid of your dopeass ride.

its sticker said base model, but from all the options, I believe it is with Grand Touring option and appearance package (body kit)

Looks like no sunroof. It might be a base model with appearance package. One clue is that it is missing the wing. If has the Bose system with steering wheel controls right?

Either way, very nice. Not having the sunroof is better for weight and tracking.

Easy mods that Yue won't notice:
- Go for the K&N Typhoon II CAI right away. Get her used to the intake noise. I have it on my RX-8.
- You can delete the cat with a sub pipe and still keep the stock muffler.
- Go for sway bars. I run Progress sways.
- It really needs a mild drop.
- Strut Tower bar - I run a Greddy bar.
- Clear corners. I can send you a link for them. I have the stealth bulbs which change the amber bulbs in the corners to silver. So the clear corners don't look like egg yolks.
- Add some wheel spacers

If she doesn't care, go twin turbo. LOL :lol:
