I'm also interested in a pair of GEN2.5 tails but I'm having the same problem that you are there hard to come across. On top of that to get them from Toyota there like $375 each. I would buy them but I want to see if I can find them at a cheaper price.
So yea if anyone does know where we would be able to find them at a decent price please let us know.

Hey fellas, I'm not sure where either of you are located but I recently did this upgrade so I'll pass along the sources I finally used. With any luck you'll be able to locate a dealer willing to ship outside North America..

http://www.car-part.com
- Database utilized by quite a few shops.

http://www.lkqcorp.com/home/home.asp
- $85 a piece was best *new OEM boxed deal I found, closest to me.
International shipping, outside of Canada / Mexico, is not common practice for them but it doesn't hurt to ask.

Best of luck hunting these down!
:)

If you want the tails you're going to have to get them seperately. I have yet to see a pair for sale in the same listing.

On another note, LKQ is a good business to work with and every part comes with a free 1-year warranty.

With, or without, the upgraded LED tail lights, I highly recommend switching the license plate lights to a 'hyper-white' LED!

The difference is night and day, and truly does offer a luxurious appeal.
Had I known the difference before hand, this would have been done Before the actual tail lights themselves.
Too Simple, Not to do!

Just my opinion, of course.. [will offer before / after pics, if wanted ]

Blurry as hell, but here's an idea of the Gen 2.5 tails with an LED license plate light. Believe I went with the 5 wide LED ones (size = 194), hoping it'd make the light distribution more even.. but without actually modifying the brackets themselves its not really feasible.

Will try to take clearer pics tomorrow night! and wow.. I really need to replace that 35% tint with 5 or 10 !! :o
