How much whp does a stock 1mz make?

Just what the topic says, how much whp should I be putting down with my 99 camry 5 speed 1mz. I'm thinking 160 whp or so but just curious. Gonna dyno the ride here in two weeks so wanna see how I compare

the 5speed? around 160-165whp if I remember correctly and about 180-185ft/lbs

150whp auto.....

160whp manual..

we did a dyno about 3 years back.. most of the auto guys were puttin down around 140 or less...

damn, u said 140-150 whp?

i have a auto, with an s\c and i put down 174whp....WITH THE PRE-CATS!

hmm, ill report back to this thread after i go get the ebay headers/ypipe installed or get the Gen4 Camry headers/ypipe and then go dyno to see the diffrence.

old thread bump. like jeff said. i thought the stock 1MZ put out 200.... if only 140 auto... jeez. I need to get a standard trans.

it doesn't mean it gets 200 to the wheels... That is with any car, they don't tell you how much horsepower it gets to the wheels.

200 hp is what your motor is making. 140 whp is what your car using to the ground to get it going. So between the motor and the tires, your car wasted or more like used up and "lost" 60 hp due to moving parts, weight, gearing, yada yada.
