2002 camry headlight housing

Just embarassingly bashed, but only slghtly, wife's Camry's front right bumper. Can deal with repainting abrasions on bumper, but fender just above bumper is bent back slightly. Looks as if it would push out easily if I could get behind it, but plastic headlight housing is in way. How do I remove/replace housing to get at inside of fender surface?

Your best bet would be to remove the entire headlight assembly (which might be what you're hinting at, not sure - have pics?). That's usually a combination of screws and bolts, try looking around it. Or, post some pics and we'll see if there's any noticeable way.

You're kidding!

Remove front bumper to remove headlight housing?

How easy can it get? (gentle sarcasm)

It's more common than you think... the 1965 Riviera had its lights in the rear bumper and you had to remove the entire bumper to change a bulb.

They don't usually consider the headlight housing to be something most people don't remove. Expect it to be a hassle.

i think there are bolts you need to loose from inside the fender through wheel well beside the ones on top, and it will come right off.
