We have a 99 Camry, adn the part where the vinyl, door padding, (on the side of the armrest) where it meets the window switches, has separated, and is sagging down, leaving a gap between it and the switchplate.

Its no big deal, but it bothers me to look at.. I cant fix it.. The clips that hold it to are broken

Just wanted to know if anyone else is having this problem..

strike another gen4 having the same problem! :RAISESHANDS:
I've got carmax to glue it before (under warranty), it a temp fix, but in time, it has sagged again. So i don't think there is a perm cure to this. From being a valet parker, i've only seen this on driverside door panel where people had simulated wood overlays.

I used a two part epoxy on mine and it worked fairly well. I just removed the entire door panel off of the car, mixed the epoxy, spread it all over the vinyl that separated from the foam and laid a few books on it until it pushed it down. Once it dried, the vinyl stuck much better and closed the gap by a noticable margin.

Id still like to find out of the Japan built Camrys had this problem as well and if not, id like to order a new set as its still not up to my standards.

Just a guess but the people with the sagging doors, were your cars built in the U.S.A? And trdkamuri51o I'm thinking your camry was built in Japan?
