Those with TRD exhaust

Wondering if there are any V6 Camry/Solara owners that are running stock exhaust to a bolt on TRD/Borla muffler that have removed their exhaust resonator? Any soundclips, happy, dissapointed? Thanks.

sorry for the stupid question Jon but what exactly is an exhaust resonator?
I have the trd on my v6 but not sure if I can help you out with anything if I'm kinda confused

The exhaust system runs from the headers, downpipe, flexpipe, cat-converter, resonator (mini muffler) to muffler. I am interested in removing that resonator to maybe get a louder sound. I'm sure PhreakedOut could clarify and break out ID and OD, etc, etc .

A guy in houston had his gen4 on a straight pipe and then trd exhaust - He had removed his resonator. he no longer posts on HI or any other boards - this was like back in the day. Cus' it was an a/t it sounds very bad IMO. Had he had an m/t i think it would have sounded sweet! (i know this doesn't answer your question - but its gives you a perspective as to what others think)

i don't got either of those mufflers, but i got a skunk2 muffler and had my resenator removed...it mad it much louder..i use the silencer though cause it brings it to a nice rumble

I did a similar thing to my i4 camry. I removed the resonator but left on an aftermarket maganflow muffler. The car is a bit louder but the engine sounds a little raspy at higher rpm's. I would suggest keeping the resonator on unless you want louder sound.

i just got regular bolt on trd exhaust. nothing else eliminated or added on.

Same as above. I just added the TRD muffler awhile back and it sounds good to me. But I am curious as to how it would sound without that resonator. Let me know if you find anything.
