Pulled codes, kinda confused

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

i bought a code reader and pulled my codes today. the car is currently surging under heavy throttle, but boost isnt beign effected. well im not sure these codes have anything to do with it(may be wrong though). they are as fallows
P0130- o2 circut malfunction (bank 1 sens. 1)
P0133- o2 sensor ckt slow response ( " )
P0150- o2 circut malfunction (bank 2 sens. 1)
P0153- o2 sensor ckt slow response ( " )
P0420- cat efficency below thresh (will this one cause the bad o2 codes?)

ive searched around and can only really find the info on teh codes but not what my next step is to fix it.

check all the wiring for the two o2 sensors- if everything seems okay, then just change them. It's probably about time anyway. Then after that, deal with the post-cat...

talk to adam about getting the 02 sensors for cheap(er)

who's adam (sn?), and how much cheaper are they?

i've been procrastinating on examining my p0135 code (bank1sensor1, o2), but if the price is right, i could be persuaded to get my fix on.

Suggestion

Postby JMSinMaryland » Thu Oct 04, 2007 6:18 pm

The one I'd be concerned about is the P0420, that's the code for need a new catalytic converter, CHA CHING.

P0130 and P0133 related to same sensor

P0150 and P0153, related to same sensor
