Well my supervisor was always asking me to retro his headlights, but the reason why I didn't want to retro them is because, 1 it has flutted lens and 2 there is no aftermarket clear headlight lens made for Camry. So finally one day I agreed on retrofitting my supervisors. (It was a fun retro)

First task was to make the custom clear lenses. I used clear acrylic to make the lens. For projector I used FX35 projectors with OEM clear lens, not a swap. After mounting them on, I vacuumed formed an ABS shroud (custom). When the shroud were done I installed D2S bulb (85122+), and aimed them.

This whole retro was a challenge, but at the end I had lots of positive feedback. Enjoy!!

That is really great. How long did it take you to do the conversion and how big of a vacuum form machine do you have to do this kind of work. GOOD on you!

I took me 2 days to complete this project. I have a home made vacuum form machine. I'm using a regular size kitchen oven and the size of the table is somewhere around 2ft. X 1ft.

Well I'm almost done with one of the member's Solara gen 1 retrofit from this forum (Mr_Chunkz) just waiting for the shroud to get chromed. One of the easiest retros that I made. It took me 1 day and a half to retrofit them, but the chroming part take minimum 2 weeks.

The ABS shrouds are $65.00 + shipping for a set. They come in black, but you can paint them any color.

I used Infiniti FX35 true bi-xenon projectors (so high and low beam are true xenon). So the whole retro is no cheap, its $650.00 shipped in U.S.
