I remember a tutorial for adjusting an autotrans kickdown cable but cannot find it can someone help me out? I think my wife's 01 Camry 2.2 could use an adjustment.

I just adjusted mine on my v6... They say to adjust it until it opens all the way at wot. I adjusted it so there is nearly no slack in the cable at WOT... Worked like a charm got my power back!

Hope this help... And please someone correct me if this is not right

Go to page AX2-69 about halfway down the page.
There's a lot of other great info in there too.
Who's cable are you adjusting, you have a 5 speed?
Trust me, I'm a technician.
