Will a 8.5 inch wide tire fit a 1998 camry?

Just wondering if the tire will rub like hell? any suggestions?

depending on your offset and tire size.... you will or will not rub.

Well on my 2001 solara I have it lowered and had 8.5's on it and they rubbed Bad.
