JIC Coilovers need new mounts?

Hey, if you know more info about getting the mounts separately from the coilovers and use them with OEM setup (or with any other "generic" lowering setup) - please let us know.

I've changed my front mounts a few times already with almost no improvement in knocking...

just to let you guys know, the mounts are well worth the money if they are compatible with the standard setup (shocks/springs) I have the full coilover system and there is ZERO knocking and no sounds what so ever. There is a little bit more road noise and more feeling, but nothing too bad and I actually prefer it over the numb streering feel of stock. If anyone knows please let us know because my gf needs new mounts on her stock suspension.

Strut mounts = no luck

Postby Kocho » Mon Apr 05, 2004 1:31 pm

Some time ago someone here posted that one could get the Tein mounts separately from the coilover set.

Well, direct from Tein, I got a response that this is not possible. If you have a different story, please share with us. Right now, it looks like Tein DOES NOT sell these mounts separately...

Unfortunately, we do not sell the pillow ball mounts for the 2000 Toyota
Camry or Solara. We are sorry to give you bad news but if you have anymore
questions please feel free to contact us. Thank you for your interest in
Tein High Performance Suspension.

Best regards,

For a '00 Toyota Camry/Solara. If yes, is it compatible with the stock
bearing and spring plate (or if the mount comes with these, can the stock
spring/strut be used)?
