oooohhhhh!! that should be fun! T04E can flow quite a bit of air if i remember correctly. Lots of turbocharging going on. I decided thats the route i want to take too. Good luck with that! :sweet:

If it goes well...I'll probably take this path ! :D

0.50 Turbine A/R...this turbo will respond very very quickly !! but will be less efficient at higher RPM !! Maybe it is what we want anyway with our 3MZ, except for the first gear ( it is very very low and strong)

3MZ-FTE FTW!!

yes sebas, most likely it wont pull as hard at the high end, but thats fine since we're looking to boost the low end from the lack of back pressure at low rpm (due to the dual exhaust setup).

exciting stuff!

oh hell yeah, i gotta see this one, if this works my summer project will be a great one, cp-e, turbo, and low mileage, all good factors for me

Many TRD S/C application are on VVT-i engine. In worse case, Camcon VVT-i controller is there for this purpose.

It seems to be used on the 2AZ-FE not the 3MZ-FE...probably no one ask for it. Not easy installation (where you'll put the control unit...???) Hoping you'll need one of these.

I think the biggest challenge will be to cut the boost between shift to avoid damaging the U151E tranny...because I think, not sure, it can damage it.

As for the vvti problem...apparently the whole ECU is gonna be reprogrammed...so i dunno how they're gonna do that but thats what STEVOs been telling me.
