Hey Mike! Great to get the call on your progress earlier. The excitement was contagious! I had to pull some photos from HIN COLUMBUS up and show the two Japanese engineers who were in my office when you called, and told them THAT's the guy who just called me and JUICED his car to nearly 300Ft/lbs of torque!

They were really impressed, and LOVED the photos of your car at Quaker Steak!

I might even have to throw my two ten lbs. bottles back in the SUPRA someday now! (Not sure if I want to use the 150 shot jets, though... since I'm still hoping for 500whp WITHOUT the juice! :wink: )

GREAT WORK! Can't WAIT to see the dyno charts when you post them... and then take a RIDE in your slingshot machine!

Awesome job Michael! Great news man! :up:

Now... imagine if you had some headers on that beast as well! ;)

I'm almost back to "normal" with my current testing and tweaking at Split Second again... but I won't whore your thread about ME after all! LOL! :D

Congrats Mike! I was so glad you called me with the good news!

1) That you made some serious power

2) That your engine didn't blow up. LOL

Securized Nitrous Oxyde system = realible power on demand ! Probably the way to go !! :) Again the great Mike T is the pionneer ! :)

Congrats bro !!

I don'T mind if King or whoever can laugh at me but referring to stock numbers 225hp (old SAE formula) vs dyno number 180-185whp

180-185whp for 225-230 hp = rule of thumb of 80% efficiency from the slushbox and other parts.

232whp = around 290 hp !!
294tq @ wheels = around 368 tq !!

Using new SAE formula around 85-88% efficiency
210hp-220tq

232whp = 273 hp
294tq @ wheels = 346 tq

Doctor T...its alive !!!! You created a monster from a soft betty !! (or something like it...use your imagination) :evilbat:

congrats mike!
can't wait to hit track, and race! lol

I'm so glad that the dyno went fine, I was so nervous when they first put it on the dyno. Time to move on.

I'm glad you got everything worked out. I'm interested in seeing the new wheels. Everything has been fine here, just putting all my time/money into the car...feeding the addiction. Maybe I'll see you down in cincy, sounds like a good time.

Nice numbers, however i didnt read anywhere in this thread that u have added supporting modifications to the transmission for the added power.

Atleast a better tranny cooler + better tranny fluid (synthetic) should be the bare minimum when you try to boost power.

other than that, great power increase, just take care of the tranny.

Yeah I agree with you ! Especially with our U151E slushy tranny. Tranny cooler for sure but also, maybe upgrading the valve body with IPT transmission., for less lag between shift then less heat.

Also Micheal...WHERE ARE THE PICS !!?? ;)
