How do you install the stock adaptor to the new built intake? (SLE v6 99')

i had built a whole new ram intake. i drilled 3 new holes for the hoses and everything on the 6" air intake tube. then i unplugged the adapter at the vacumm tube. now, im trying to figure out how to put that on the new air mount.

huh? You made your own intake without a place to mount the MAF? Wouldn't buying one have been easier. Sounds to me like you're gonna have to cut and drill

If you're trying to use pipe that's 6" diameter...no.
The MAF is only accurate with a 2.75" pipe.
Your CEL will come on and the car won't run right.
Got any pics, I'm curious to see this thing?

Aha! Well for starters, that's a Gen 2.
You can get a MAF adapter like the one he used from AutoZone or Pep Boys.
It's made by Spectre like he said. BUT! You don't have an option like that for the Gen 1.
I think it would be a shame, but you could cut up the factory box (I don't recommend it).

You could put the piece in place of the resonator
to at least make the car sound more aggressive.
That way to didn't spend your time and money for nada.
