Will a power steering pump leak cause a burning oil smell in the cabin and visible smoke from engine compartment?

Unless its somehow hitting the exhaust manifold then no. Ive had my power streering pump leak for a while now and ive never exprienced anything other than having to top it off constantly.

Not a pump but the pressure and return lines pass right over the rear exhaust manifold. Check there first. Those lines are notorious for leaking on the 1mz
