New Custom Catback Exhaust

I had this done a while back now, but my computer has been dead for a few months and I finally fixed it. I wanted to get my exhaust done, and my buddy has his own shop for welding. So, we bought a $100 Ractive muffler and he stole stainless steel street bike exhaust piping from his work  He tig welded everything up and he even made his own stainless steel hangers for me.

I wasn't sure what to expect as far as sound, and I was scared that it would sound ricey as f*ck. After about 4 hours of repositioning, welding, etc. I finally got to take it off of the hoist to test it out. To my surprise it sounds like a god damn V8 muscle car now. When I hit the rev limiter it pops and sounds like a god damn turbo and when I take my foot off of the gas it pops and bubbles (my best explanation of the noise ) but I am in love with it.

After it was done, I took it to my hockey game and all of my buddies were outside having some pre-game smokes. I took my sticks and bag out and put it about 3 feet behind my car. Everybody wanted to hear it, so I hopped in and revved it up and apparently my two hockey sticks blew off of the top of my hockey bag 8)

Anyways, I will post up a video of it soon and here's a few pictures of what it looks like (and yes I know it's round and does look a little rice and yes it is kicked out a bit but I like it).

vids! I think I mentioned it on someone else's exhaust thread...it's hard to f*ck up the sound of a 1mz.....getting rid of the resonators will do it. Stock size piping?

Working on getting a video together I quit my job so maybe I will go out today and make a short one for you guys. And he opened up the pipe by a quarter inch I think. It completments the SRI real nice, almost hitting the same pitch when I have the gas pinned

Sure did! $200 all in for the muffler, piping, and labour. Couldn't turn down that deal and I'm still trying to find the good camera to make a decent vid. It will be up soon though!
