I've been trolling(er...searching) around stuff what could I do to my Solara's engine. I've been looking at some NA 1MZFE tunes on some sites on MR2 and I found this video...

This monster of a V6 Camry engine puts out 728 WHP at full boost...although its probably a dyno queen but WTF O_o 700 HP that's like 240% of the engine's total capacity. Hot damn.

i love tonys setup but he has spent a rediculous amount of money on that setup. we all love our 1mzs but you could buy a pimp mk4 supra for what has been spent on that baby

Everyone and their mom has a high horsepower Supra....2 people have a high horsepower Camry

haha true that. sorry i have swayed to the supra side lol. but do miss my solara a bit

lol, it seems most of us have moved on. Maybe once I pick mine up at the VPC in a week or so, that'll change

unfortunatly supra gives me more bang for the buck

Yeah I know what you mean. I picked it up yesterday and wow.... We're talkin a 150+ hp difference between the Solara and the GTO. The Solara feels like its stock, so I honestly can't see myself putting more money into it besides maintenance, I'll just keep it around as a beater and the it blows up. Parts for the GTO are more readily available and the gains are incredible. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted.

i'm guessing that the internals were forged? What about the differential?? was it replaced?

Im guessing for sure LSD with built axles and maybe custom gearing.
