body kit/lowering question

I am looking to lower my car and put a body kit on it, but the pricetag of the two together is really steep. Is there anything else, or a different combo that can be done to get a similar look without wiping my wallet dry? Maybe a smaller lip kit or something

You could try a Acura Cl lip. Otherwise you would have to do a lot of custom work

The convertible solara came with rocker panel/side pieces. Might be able to find one at a junkyard, maybe even in your color code...

It shouldn't be, it's an OEM part. Tein springs aren't expensive and IIRC, it's a 1.7/1.5 inch drop. Add some struts/shocks, you should be able to have it all for under 1k. You'll want to replace bushings while you're in there.

There aren't too many body kits available and the ones that are, are the ones that were in production 10+ years ago and they look like trash. Majority of the forum will tell you to go with the TRD/Kaminari lip kit. It works well with the body lines and still looks good today.
