before I commit I would like to know....I am assuming that the letters are colored and the rest of the decal is transparent?

^ Yes, all thats on the paper is the letters.

I wonder how it will look if the smoke decal was overlaid on the brake light strip on the oem spoiler.

I actually sell the Smoked sheet of Vinyl that covers the OEM brake like on the spoiler.. thats only if you want to smoke it.

The Transparent colors are just that. The Vinyl is Transparent. Its good if your windows are not tinted because you can see right thru it.
The one's I sold before were 2 Tone with Transparent film. More expensive to make.
I can make it if you are willing to pay for it.
