hey guys. i realize i can get the 8psi pulley from pulleyboys.com but instead of paying almost $90 with shipping i thought i would check here first....also im checking on what exactly i should get to safely go from 5.5psi to 8psi

my specs: 2000 camry sedan 5speed...obx headers, injen intake, magnaflow muffler and cat, trd charger with 5.5 psi and the jims fuel mod thing....

i know i have to get supra injectors, and a walbro fuel pump...but what else? if someone could send me an ebay link of the items i want to try and get the best deal...thanks a lot guys

URD sells walbro pumps ready to drop in

meth/water injection. Brand is up to you. They all do the same thing. Some use a pressure switch (this is what I have) others use the MAF signal which will give you more control over how much is injected vs all or nothing with the pressure switch

AFR gauge if you don't already have one. What are you using to tune? How's the rest of the exhaust? Did you just get a muffler and cat or is the rest opened up?

your going to need a split second, the safc isnt up to the job at 8lbs, also if u want to run 91 octane youll need at least an 800 nozzle for the meth, & i suggest the devils own 6 gallon meth tank that u locate in the trunk, the little tanks used under the hood are a pain, allways filling them.

we have 93 octane up here and thats what i put in it....do i 100% need a meth kit? or can i just get away with injectors and fuel pump? for now my AFR gauge is just one of those narrowband light shows from auto zone haha

your not even tuned at 5.5 psi right now?? :o

But yea, pick up a Split Sec and meth kit is highly recommended.
Heck, even I run a meth kit only at 4 psi right now to keep the knock sensors happy and of course the added other benefits of having meth... :drinking:

yeah you definitely want to get something to tune with and a wideband before the 8# pulley goes on

Im surprised your car is holding up good right now at 5.5 psi with no tune, same thing as these guys said split second, and meth is highly recomended i learned the hard way at 5.5psi. Thats why my build is starting all over.

the only thing thats saved you is the 93 octane, 8lbs requires a split 2nd, meth mixed 50/50 with water, if u run 94.2 octane u can run a 375 or 625 nozzle for meth, & a dyno tune, also 3in exhaust no cat at least 325 injectors.

Hey guys, I'm also curious about this. I'd like to run more boost than 5.5psi. I'm currently running and auto setup with the 5.5psi pulley, jims fuel mod, a 255 fuel pump, the supra injectors, trans cooler, apexi neo, obx headers (no cat). Would I be able to grab a 7/8psi pulley, add the 50/50 meth/water injection kit and be set? with a tune of course.

Also, if you don't mind my noob questions, how expensive is it to run meth? and what is a split sec?
