I bought the replica grille but I havent tried to put it on yet. I know I gotta make holes for the top taps but the bottom tabs dont look like they will hold the grille in place without some modifications. I got some pics so you can get a good look.

I'm definitely interested. Plz keep updated on progess Rob! If this fits well and the modifications are easy enough, I will have my roommate complete whatever mods are needed to enforce the tabs.

EDIT

Is the grille removable? I'm thinking of painting the frame a dark metallic gunmetal as part of a project of mine. Will be painting the SEV6 side emblems, and surrounding window trim on front/back/sides of car all a dark metallic gunmetal... color like these rims...

Im back on the road working now and I wont see my car for another three weeks. So I wont know how the grille fits till then.

the center piece of the grille is removable, its held on by metal tabs

the frame is made of fiberglass and comes ready for paint

Apparently, they have a mesh grille for the Gen 2 too.

LOL I dunno, I just googled the color and found what matched the color best. I want it slightly darker then the rims tho. Slightly darker and that will be the color that I will use on the chrome window and grille trim! It will be sexy
