FYI - the strut bar doesn't matter which engine you have. there's only one model of the TRD fstb for the camry/solara and it fits both i4 and v6.

i already sold mine though. sorry.

Well I have the oem front strut tower bar but since I have a supercharger it will not fit since the s/c sits higher than the stock manifold. Gotta take my time and finish my engine swap. I pulled my 1mz to replace a head gasket and discovered a few surprises. Spun 2 bearings from a possibly clogged oil galley and broke a ring land that I was already kinda aware of. So rather than replace the two rods and bearings that spun and machine the crank I decided to pick up a 3mz and supercharge it. Just got the engine today in Brockton for $950. Only has 90k on it. Oil pan is dented but I can use my 1mz pan. I may start a build thread tonight. Gabe was kind enough to help me out with some info and parts to get me started

minor correction - the stock bar doesn't fit because the curved end is in the way of the belt. if you cut the stock bar near the belt, then add a section that will go straight over the belt and make a sharp bend back down to the strut tower, the stock bar will clear the s/c just fine as long as you don't have any broken motor mounts. more than one person has done this in the past.

that said, the trd bar is the easiest to install and best-looking solution for when you have a s/c.
