I believe Hskr meant if there is a zinc coating or some other rust preventative. The light oil coating is for shipping.

unless they are treated, the rotors will eventually rust...more specifically around the hub of the rotor was what I meant. actually few rotors are claimed as rust proof. my brembos were painted black on the hubs, but eventually the paint wore off and rust began to form, so I repainted them.

i have never had a set of cryo-treated rotors...has anyone else? those are supposed to be fully rust proof i believe.

The brakes are on and took a bit to settle in but it's starting feel great. I'll post pix soon.
At first I was like, where the hell are my brakes? it felt long to stop but he told me to chill and it need to adjust and he's right.
