You have all the aspects of a good shot except the camera setting. The pictures are far too grainy to be blown up to a calendar size. (There were a couple like that in this year's calendar.)

If your camera is of a decent quality and shape, then stop by a photo equipment store and show them the picture and the camera. (Do this in the middle of the day when they are not busy and are more inclined to talk. These guys will be happy to check your settings and help you take better pics.

Take an afternoon and read the manual and play with the settings. Use the "properties information" to see what settings were used for the good pictures. Trial and error is the best way to figure out what works.

By the way, the car looks great. (Aside from the grainyness.)

^Thanks for the tip Brian

but these were just "random" pics... It was a few "quick snap shots"... wasnt taking them for a real photo shoot

I was out and about this weekend with my camera for other events and saw a spot for a few shots

these particular shots arent worthy to be in the calendar lol... thats IMHO

For a sec i assumed you painted your car. PHEW!!!

The best investment to my camera was a tripod. I wasn't take good pics, but with a tripod people's perspective changed about my pic-taking-skills. So see if thats something you want to invest in. Something 20-30 bucks should be suffice.
