Ok, so a fellow solaraguy had an extra pair of gen1 taillights off of ebay and allowed me to try them on over the weekend. I must admit that the gen1 taillights look a "tad" bit better so I might opt for buying a set myself.

About blacking them out...not too sure if I want to do that. It would be nice if I get to see some blackedout tails before I do mine. If I am ever to do mine, I might just apply a very thin layer of the spray and that's about it. ANy of you guys try this before and what are your suggestions?

Sorry about the lighting in this pic.

On a sidenote:
I noticed one of the taillights from ebay did not have the four screws required to keep it attached to the frame of the car. Did my friend get screwed from ebay or can we obtain those screws elsewhere?

Those headlights darkened stock on gen 1.5s or you do that yourself? I'm hopefully getting a white 2000 and would like to do something similiar to that

Indeed. Saw you today on Carmenita/South around 3pm. Funny thing is when I drove in to towne center I saw two other white gen1.5 solaras. Weird day. That makes it 4 DWP solaras roaming around Cerritos for today from 3-3:30pm.

Update on car: Getting tint done tomorrow, pictures will come up once that is done. I'm assuming the suspension settled, but the ride height still looks the same like the pictures.

Looks pretty clean... Im not a big fan of that style of rim though. Too "dub"-like for my tastes.

Ebay. I think I ended up paying $200 for picking them up. A bit steep imo, but I like the look.

thealkimo, are you running those rims in your sig right now? What are they and what are the size, offset and stuff...

DAMN that looks soooo GOOD. Don't want to be no copycat, but I still dream of having my car look like yours...but with gen 1.5 fronts..hehe.
