I'm glad you guys like it! My plan is to continue the black and grey theme throughout the entire car. I've replaced the fabric in the doors with the grey alcantara and plan on doing the same with the roof liner. Does anyone know of a good vinyl dye? I tried using vinyl paint and I'm not really pleased with the results.

illstylez, you do your own sewing?

Dude... are you for hire? If I chop off my roll bars could you patch the holes left by the headrests? Maybe just one line across the top edge or two small patches.

If you could post a picture first before you chop it. I'd like to be sure I could do it before you chop anything off.

Wow James looks freaking awesome! Im glad our meet at elmhurst pushed you over the edge to start working on your car! Can't wait to see how it all ends up by next year. Just get a CF hood to take care of that dent and you should be good!

Very nice... hey, do you think I could get ahold of a pattern or something? I have some sewing skills too. :P I've got a 50 year old Sears-Kenmore sewing machine that belonged to my grandma. It can punch through several layers of leather. :) Thanks!

Old machines are the best. Mine is a Singer from 1912. It works as well as they day it was new (I assume...)

I made patterns myself using the pieces from the old seats. Just make sure you really want to do it before you tear the old seats apart.
