PICS - Black Grill & V6 Emblems

Postby BLACK V6 » Thu Mar 19, 2009 5:17 pm

Just to start out I took these pics in my garage so no special backdrops or anything lol. Im all about having the shaved look, clean, without emblems, but I was just experiments and putting the V6 emblems on the fender actually looked good to me idk... And I painted my old grill black, nothing new, not sure if I will keep it on there. Should I put the chrome, stock grill back on or does it look ok. I know, I know, the pictures do it no justice.

I kinda like the look of the gold emblems on the black paint.

You gotta drop that thing. It'd set your rims off nicely.

I know, I know. I think I have a phobia of rubbing. Idk what it is called but I have it. Any ideas on some lowering springs where I would not have to worry about rubbing? I have a tight budget so no fender rolling...

Very nice!
If your looking for some good springs go with either Tein or Eibach.

If you have speakers in the trunk go with Tein it offers a lower drop in the front (1.7) that way with the weight of the subs it evens out.

If you dont have subs in the trunk, go with Eibach it offers an even drop all around (1.5)

Both are very good springs and in the range of $200-$300. 8)

installing springs is not hard, i think there is a diy around here somewhere. you will need to go to autozone or something and buy a spring compressor tho.

Yeah, installing springs is easy. You are gona need a spring compressor though. You should be able to find out how by looking through the tutorials or getcha a Haynes book. Of course afterwards your gona need an alignment. As for the rubbing issue, you shouldnt rub at all depending what size tires you have. What size are they???

Sweet! Thats the size Im gona run when I get my 18s. 8)
They shouldnt rub, but in hard cornering they might a little. Do you have a TRD RSB??? Do you plan on getting one??? They are super sweet!

Im on Teins and when I get my 18s I plan on rolling my fenders if I need to.
