here are the pics of my extention installed i didnt want to cut anything so i fashioned an extension piece .still working on getting it perfectley straight and my aem air bipass valve is on its way i feel i need the valve because i do alot of traveling and never know what the weather will be like so let me know whet you think Image Image Image here ar the pics with the bipass valve installed Image Image Image wat yall think if anyone has an extra black gromet i need one

It's getting there. Eventually, look into replacing the corrugated tubes with something smoother.

Also, I really don't think the bypass is necessary. I have essentially the same setup and have never had a problem (snow storms, heavy rain etc.).

well i love my baby so id rather be save then sorry and i know if i dont put it in i will be worried all the time i think i have read to many horror stories

I agree with James, the bypass isn't necessary unless you plan on driving through lakes. I'm boosted and have had my CAI through torrential downpours w/o even a sputter.

I also say ditch the middle piece and cut some room for the extension to sit straighter. The metal is really flimsy and cuts like butter.

i have to drive through the valleys here and even parts of the freeways get flooded i just want to be prepaired

i hydrolocked before and it was with the CAI. boosted as well and it happened only 4 houses after pulling out of my garage. under 5mph and was pouring so much I didnt even notice the street was that bad. Long story short, I disconnect the 2nd tube in bad weather or get a bypass

You need to hide some of the stuff. lol.
