**UPDATE: LED Mirror Signals + '07 Tails (New Pics Pg 2)
I've had these LEDs for several months now - and Michael T beat me to it awhile back so I lost interest (that, and it's a real sumbitch to do!!)
I got mine from a custom bike supplier - and I didn't cut into my mirrors and recess them like Michael did, as they're flush mount and I wanted a 360º view of the light - and best of all, they're CLEAR when they're off and AMBER when lit!
I drilled into the mirror (after removing the assembly from the car - what a PIA!) and fed the wires through and sealed it up - then fed through the door panel and into the door cable rubber grommet. Hooked up to the signal relay wires down by the driver's kick panel (after finding the wiring schematic - UGH!) - and Viola!
Driver's Side On/Off:
Passenger's side from Driver's seat:
From Driver's seat On/Off:
Front side view On:
Oh - and while I had that panel off, I decided to finally snip that dang Ragtop control speed limiter wire (thanks to Down2theC for his info on that one: http://www.solaraguy.org/viewtopic.php? ... ht=top+mod )
So... still a few more things to do before Sunday rolls around!
