**UPDATE: LED Mirror Signals + '07 Tails (New Pics Pg 2)

I've had these LEDs for several months now - and Michael T beat me to it awhile back so I lost interest (that, and it's a real sumbitch to do!!) :o

I got mine from a custom bike supplier - and I didn't cut into my mirrors and recess them like Michael did, as they're flush mount and I wanted a 360º view of the light - and best of all, they're CLEAR when they're off and AMBER when lit! :D

I drilled into the mirror (after removing the assembly from the car - what a PIA!) and fed the wires through and sealed it up - then fed through the door panel and into the door cable rubber grommet. Hooked up to the signal relay wires down by the driver's kick panel (after finding the wiring schematic - UGH!) - and Viola! :D

Oh - and while I had that panel off, I decided to finally snip that dang Ragtop control speed limiter wire (thanks to Down2theC for his info on that one: http://www.solaraguy.org/viewtopic.php? ... ht=top+mod ) :D

So... still a few more things to do before Sunday rolls around! ;)

Thanks!

They weren't cheap - I think about $50-60 each (I got two) :o

Jeeze Jeff:

You've become the Q-Branch of SoCal. Cranking out the mods 24/7.

I can't wait to see what's in store for next week.

I'm surprised you haven't photoshopped a new design body kit.

Great work! Keep up the pace.

Wow - thanks guys! :)

I got to drive around a bit tonight to test them out around town - I really like being able to see them well - but mainly that others can. Had to merge a few times and people backed off and let me in, where as they usually don't. They're really bright as helll - 40 LEDs in 6 inches.

My tails should be in tomorrow or Fri. They're going in Sat if I can work it in. :)

My next big mod after that will be the 07 Sport Spoiler. I really think it balances out that biggass on the Convert. ;)

Looks Great.
how did you find the signal wire at the kick panel???
on mine, i extended the cable all the way to the front blinker, and tap into it... (as long as it works, right?)
