Installed my JIC FLT-A1 coilovers this weekend. Unfortunately I ran into one broken lower strut bolt, so I am waiting for that to come in at the dealer before I drive the car, but other wise it is done... I will have official pics up friday when the bolt is installed and I get the car all clean. Its also going in thursday to have the leaky axle seals replaced, then it will be good to go after an alignment! teaser of the drop:

I had to wedge the can in there... it wont roll anywhere  I want to go lower, but I really cant if I dont want to destroy my car. It looks pretty nice though :)

^ so slammed is ripping your entire kit off because the state of michigan is too poor to patch any of the roads? I guess Im not slammed then and never will be

I dont have time to wait for a camber kit, Im not even sure if Ill need one yet... the bolt was like 5 bucks anyway and I need the car driveable to get the axle seals done and attend a show on saturday. Good advice though, I dont want to go any lower...

Cool.

Where did you get JIC from?
As far as I know, they dont sell online and I don't know of any stores that carry them.

One more question. Why did you choose the A1 instead of the A2? Any particular reason?

To answer the A1 vs A2 question... these bad boys popped up on ebay with a $750 buy it now. I talked to the guy and he didnt know anything about them and had swapped them with TRD springs because he wanted the TRD name, then sold the car and had no use for them. He really botched the listing and it was super shady, so I kind of took a risk on them and it worked out. He said they have about 5k miles on them but they seem to be in great shape... he had them set to a ride height higher than my tein springs, i have no clue why he even had coils

Id prefer the FLTA2s but I couldnt beat the price... he lowered the buy it now to $550 with a day left so I just went for it! Too cheap to pass up!

here is the front fender gap, i havent been able to make the pics do it justice yet, but I have a photoshoot planned for friday with some subies before the show we are going to... its a little less than a one finger gap. Also keep in mind Im rocking 50 series tires, so that makes the gap look a little larger in pics too because of the added sidewall:

sweet. your kit is just held on with 3m tape?
where many hate, few will love,
But for those who love,
they'll see what it's like to live.
