Fukkin' FOKK!!! :evil:

Return trip from LV last week... gonna cost some $$ to totally repaint the whole front of the ride, new windshield and headlights - grille - everything!! :x

Insurance will cover - I just have to schedule time to get it done - prolly in March sometime if I can stand to drive it like this for that long! :-?

man thats a bummer, but you have to love free repaints. I got backed into this summer and got the whole front done free from insurance. The bumper was really faded so i was stoked haha.

Sorry to see that though, that really sucks!

how does insurance cover it? Does it depend if you have liablity or full coverage? I would sure love a repaint...

I've made that trip to Las Vegas at least 50 times over the past 10 years (my folks live there and there's always conferences in town) - and I've never once seen a phenomenon like I did last week!

What made it exceptionally worse was the "road grading" on the shoulders that Cal Trans in their infinite wisdom decided to do to improve the shoulders and center divider between the highways! :roll:

I may see if I can get a new front bumper altogether while they're at it since mine is basically held on with zip-ties and epoxy right now! ;)

I am eventually going to get an old used Toyota truck to commute with and haul crap with since I live out in the country now. ;)

:lol: Just kidding. That sucks. I'm surprised insurance will pay for it. Perhaps I should try to get mine to pay to repaint the big chunks missing from my hood from rocks :(

My old windshield was looking like that on my 99 Solara, now with a brand new one it's like driving with the head out of the car. So sad for you nice ride :( Me too I need a paint job

BWAAAHHAAAA!!! Good one Jer! :rofl:

I have good insurance I guess... already talked with the adjuster - I'm fully covered and get a rental car to boot. No bump in my rates because it wasn't my fault and there was no accident... same as a tree falling on your car.

Just tell them the truth - amazing how that can work sometimes! ;) :up:
