The Steering wheel, shifter, and the long seams on the seats were all sewn by hand (by me, of course).

how did you route the ipod to come thru the bottom of the storage console?

currently i have my ipod connect routed thru the center console, but in a way that has it come up thru the e-brake slot (so you always see the cord going into the center storage.

really, what i'm curious about is whether you had to remove the center console in order to do the cuts, or if you were able to cut a hole and run the wire while the storage console was still in the car.....?

looks good though.

Very nice James, looks like a lot of hard work. I wish my valve cover looked like that!

Chinky, there are bolts around the inner piece of the console. Pull that out, and then remove the 2 screws for the center console under the shifter bezel and just pull up the center console piece a little bit, to get your hand under it, run the cable behind your AC and ashtray, under the shifter and under the cupholders. Then just drill a small hole in the bottom of the center console and voila. Done. Thats what I did.

I did remove the center console. It's easy enough to take out. Then I made a hole in the storage console. Eventually, I'll get a rubber gromment to go around the hole so it looks cleaner.

Thanks!

The easiest way would be for you to send me your valve cover (or I could get one from somewhere) and then I'll shine it up for you. I'm not sure of the price yet - I have no idea what would be fair.
