Finally Picked A Set Of Wheels...

Postby TLMNICK » Fri Apr 17, 2009 10:28 pm

For a while, I've been looking around trying to find something that suites my Gen1 vert. Initially I wanted to go with a huge rim (20), but decided against it because it would require too much work rolling fenders and what have you.

I stuck with a simple split 5-spoke wheel (TSW Indy500) in hyper Silver. They're 18X8 with a +40 offset. They do rub in the rear if I hit a large dip in the road, or if there is someone in the back. I'll have to do something about that in the near future. A mesh type wheel could've looked decent too, but they're a pain to keep clean. The only thing with the rims I chose is, I wish it had a bigger lip, but they didnt get any bigger than that until you get into a 20"+ wheel....which was kinda gay.

Anyway.....Here are the pics!.....all comments welcome.

I agree, nice choice for a convertible. What color is your car by the way, because it looks black in all but the last picture?

Great choice! They are a nice contrast to your black paint.
