Misread a guys right hand turn, the drive said he made a mistake and changed his mind on the turn he wanted to make and decided to take the next turn which was over 600feet away, he had his blinker on for about 300feet, so i was looking to my right because i assumed he was making the turn as a turned around i hit his back passenger tire, luckily that's all i hit and no there's no damage on his car. my car on the other hand has damage, i need a new bumper. Estimate is about $680 for a new bumper and paint but im running into a problem the shop i want to take the car too cant paint the kit because of the rubber seal and get this Toyota does not sell the seal separate. and it cant be removed from the kit.
Heres the damage

uhmmm you deff need to do some more research... first of all u just need a bumper COVER seccond of all straight from Toyota that shouldn't be too much more than 200 or 250...don't let the body shop screw you over... 680 sounds like WAY too much

ok all understandable, i have 5 estimates in front of me and every single one is a couple bucks of from the other, all for a paint, labor, parts. i need the new bumper and two front lips painted about 4.8 hours of paint labor, 2.8 hours for labor hours and a font bumper Oem is 236. The only reason its so much is because the Pearl paint is a 3 stage paint job .

That totally sucks man, at least you don't have to worry about the other guy's car. Still it's a PITA.
