REQUEST: Michal T's Arctic frost grille pics *pics added*

Does anyone have any up close pics of the Upper grille either IN or OUT of the car... I need some ideas as to how to make my own upper grille.

(sorry mike i'm not trying to steal your ideas if you don't approve just PM me and ill close the thread or w.e I just need some ideas)

Anyway, I successfully finished and installed my own lower grille i'm just a bit confused on the upper. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys!

Well, sorry that's all I can find (many more, but similar) that has "decent" grille shots. I THOUGHT I had one with hood open that shows the "bend" on the grille TOP and how it "clears" the latch/lever. You can MAYBE see it in the last shot a little.

Mine has been on the car for about 50k miles, and still looks good! :wink:

thanks crisp hehe... I made the grille... i got some final tweaks to do to it... ( i also removed the middle brace for the old grille as it serves no purpose... i just gotta mount it and stuffz ill post pics when its done

The bend is what i am most interested in tho.

Yeah, I thought I had some close-up pics... but can't find them. Post what you did and show us how it turned out!

(If you still need some close-ups on the bend, let me know... I can shoot them and post for you. :wink:

Mike T's grills look amazingly high quality though. You guys are the lucky few!

Honestly, the bottom grill looks great. But the top grill, not so much. It doesn't "fit in". If your car was a darker color or even red, it'd look awesome. Or maybe add more tastefully placed black pieces to help with the contrast. Well done project overall though. Kudos on coming up with the idea and such.

o.o well my cars supposed to be black on white... soooooo idk. All i need to do is get my windows tinted and well then idk what other black stuff u can add. My rims are allready black

if u really wanted to u could paint that chrome piece on the hood black....

yeah i was trying to think of ways to get that black but i don't think any thing will hold up well against the road chips better than the chrome
