im going to see if i can make it. Im DYING to see these cars, and an opportunity to see them all at the same time is tempting enough for me to make the drive down to maryland, now lets see if i can get the time off!
If it doesn't kill you.....it only makes you faster!

Looking real sweet JoeB. 8) Sorry I couldn't make the trip to AMS last weekend but I had a medical problem that prevented me from making the trip. :(

I got another doctor appointment today for several tests to see if surgery is necessary. :( More to follow!

JoeB wrote:Thanks for the comments! I love this forum, you all are so supportive. I'd rather not comment on price. Trust me to say it is very expensive. If you are serious about it, find a shop and inquire but be prepared for a big ticket! How serious you are will determine your level of shock! I was very serious, have the money and was still shocked. .

I'll definitely try to share the experience with all of you the best I can. Pics, sound clips and video at the track. If you can make it to MIR (Maryland International Raceway) for the NOPI event April 9+10, it'll be great! There will be 3 of us there with built Solaras, Rizal with Tobasco, Greg with Silverlicious (I can't wait to see that car!) and myself. It's early enough, plan for it and make the trip! I know not everyone can make the trip because of the distance so I know I speak for all of us when I say we'll try to take enough pics and get video to share the experience.

Greg, I'm just sorry I missed meeting you and getting to see your car! Sorry to hear about the medical problem. I wish you a speedy recovery and hope to see you at MIR! -JoeB

I'm sure, easy slip. I would LOVE to have her rear wheel drive! OOOOOHHHH HOOOOOO!!! I'd be a maniac!!! It's probably a very good thing it is front wheel drive. I'd get in WAY too much trouble! I'd be drifting all over the place! -JoeB

Looking good man, its coming together nicely. What are your specs?

Man Im in the same boat as you... Its kinda like one of those "if you have to ask, you probably cant afford it" type deals to do something like this. crap, in my buildup it is costing me 500 bucks just to get my rods/pistons/block cryotreated. Thats like the cheapest thing thats happening to my engine haha.

I was just reading about the cryo treating in Turbo & High Perf mag. That sounds really nice. For specs on my car/engine, check out my CarDomain page. I didn't put all the details like all of the ARP bolts used and special valve guides and knock sensors and may little details. The list was long enough. How about specs on your car? Sounds like you got a nice project going yourself. -JoeB
