nice edited pics of C.C.'s car by the way, the one with the black rims and red lip looks really good on the car.

Well, I'm packing for Oregon, but I'll do it on my laptop when I get bored and only take screen shots, but when I come back on Tuesday I'll post either the results or the tutorial I learned it from (here's a hint: It's much easier than dealing with hue/saturation).

From what I've heard he isn't active in the digital imaging community unless $$ is involved. Plus he look's too much like Dean Martin.

That's soooo not true. :o You have no idea how much free stuff I do for people constantly.

Just because someone has skills in something people think they should just donate all their time without a second thought. This is my livelihood guys - how I earn a living. It's not like I'm a waiter sneaking a free sandwich for my buddies or something, sheesh! I don't get a paycheck or have health care and vacation benefits like most of you hard working folks. I have to cover all my own expenses, pay for my own health insurance, file my own self-employment taxes, etc... which allows me to work my own hours, sure, but is also why I'm at the computer 16+ hours a day as well. If I'm not working on a project, I'm out trying to drum up business. It's a vicious cycle and rarely does a job come to me - I have to hunt it down.

So yeah - if I don't jump on every "Photoshop contest" out there just to prove my skills, does that make me greedy or not caring? Not necessarily. To you guys, it may be a hobby - to me, its how I make my living. I'm going to have to be selective sometimes - especially when I'm busy. ;)

Id have to agree, working in the feild all day long and then coming home to read a forum with a request for a photoshop of a car, I wouldnt jump on it every time either, a simple execution ya maybe, but if someone wanted something complicated done eg below ( yes im showing off lol) this didnt happen in 15 minutes and I might say for the few hours I put in someone else could have paid me to do ...

Its kind of nice to get a return on the software you actually bought too as opposed to downloaded for nothing, wich many hobbiest tend to do.

I dont recal anyone ever wanting to do people taxes on here for free just as an example.

Agreed

In all honesty it was meant to be a joke, i.e. inclusion of Dean Martin comparison. I wish I had the skills myself, but if you need any help with retirement planning, life insurance, disability or long term care I'll be more than happy to assist
