btw, i should be receiving my second dell 20" widescreen today...ill be pimping dual monitors too (3360X1050)

Just do a 1280X1024 and have it "mirrored" to the next screen... It would be either split in half (unless they're interconnected), or one screen with the picture and one black without anything, because I used to dual-screen my laptop for a while before the built-in monitor actually died later (for a while it only had a small corner of the screen dead from a crack).
