seriously that 1st pic on page 2 looks almost photoshop. I think I'm going to save up and get a camera like yours.

^^^ thanks!!
haha yeah, ive been thinking about it but i paid a lot for those black pearl emblems and think they blend well.. unlike the chrome.... at some point im sure i will though. :) i get bored and put things on/take things off the car quite often... ive switched from the oem corners to the clears 3 times in the past month and gone through 4 different emblems on the grille... in these shots i have the "Toyota" emblem on.... it will be off in a few days im sure lol
though i kind of like that too.... :)

that shot was funny, i was shooting into the sun so it came out a bit too bright and washed out. i turned up the contrast a little, turned down the light. low saturation. i think it came out nice... looks soft.
taken with a Nikon L1, pretty inexpensive....

As always the car is lookin Good. My camera sucks cause it was free lol. Everytime I look at your car with the shaved emblems it makes me want to go do it to mine since it looks so good. I just cant decide if I would like my car more with or without them.

PS too bad you cant go in reverse no more!!! Nice lights

thanks orange!!
ive gone through different stages with my trunk.... ive had the toyota "T" only, then the "T" with the "solara" painted both the "T" and "Solara" the same color as my car. i thought that looked good. then i took the "T" off and had only the "solara"... i think it looks much MUCH better completely shaved... so i say go for it!! if you dont like it its not hard to re-tape and install the emblems so you have nothing to loose...

Shave It

Postby JMSinMaryland » Fri May 04, 2007 9:03 am

Here's a pic of mine shaved. Especially with no front logo and aftermarket rims, you'll leave people guessing.

This was on for a week or two, just wanted to see how it would look/confuse people, took it off right after this meet.
