hmm WD40...didnt think of that...can anyone else vouch for the '40?

not sure, but i think i remember when writing the tutorial for gen 1 rsb someone mentioned teflon tape and grease? im interested because its been 10 monts now and mine is squeaking, plan on fixing it next weekend - and figuring out if mine is on the track setting haha - its the inner-most hole correct? (gen 1.5)

That's what i did.
I used teflon tape and white lithium grease.
Works really good.
2000 Solara SE auto V6. Diamond White Pearl.
Top Speed Run finished at 130 mph. :o
Too many modifcations for the signature.

You wrap the RSB about the width of the bushin', and then put on white lithium grease, or suspension lube on the bushin', and then place the bushin' back on the bar, and then bolt the bushin' mount back on.
That's all.

Teflon tape is used in plumbin' to seal the area between the thread of 2 joinin' connections.
It's also somewhat used on boost/vacuum gauges too.

So today I changed the RSB to the track setting and rubbed the bushings down with Mobil 1 synthetic grease that my friend had in his garage.

Long story short, it handles so siiick now!
