Very nice. That color is sweet, and the interior trim is one of the best color matches I've seen on a solara yet!

it looks FECKING awesome man. everything blends nicely. the painted trim came out very well.

so be honest, first impressions? what do you think, worth it?

Of course I think it looks great! But I think its going to be harder to keep the car clean as now water can be sprayed all down the side of the car since my tires expand past the lower part of the car now that the mud guards are off. Also you can still see the outlines of where the mud guards where up front and they are not going to go away because its scratched through the paint. Do your cars look like that? The pics hide it for the most part and Im assuming they do in your pics. I also dont like how the side skirts want to pull against the tape which makes somewhat of a small bucket for water to collect in. (Its hard to explain) And I do bottom out ever so slightly on the speed bump I can't avoid. Although somedays I would scrap on it and others I wouldn't with the mud guards. I measured the height of the mudguards and compared it to the bottom of the side skirt and they are the same height. Maybe the bottom will scrap away enough so it will stop! But yes its all worth it because now when I walk away from my car at look back at it at least three times now!!!

Nope my car came with the center interior pieces black! The first owner must have had the same taste as me! Keep as much wood out of it!

I would have taken some better pics after work, but I just spent the last couple of hours of daylight tearing out my interior and putting it back in to check and see if my rear strut bolts were coming loose. Im starting to hear some clunking in the rear. Everything was tight so I bet I may have to replace the upper strut assembly if it starts to get too annoying.

Thanks for all your guys comments! Its a great feeling getting the car to the point I wanted it at!

Here are some better pics I was able to take. Sorry they are so pixalated, my camera really sucks. I put up the better pics my camera took. Its just so exciting of all the feedback ive been getting lately. Sorry if this comes off like im bragging, but Im reall not. Ive just never had a car that got so much attention thus far. My fiancee was laughing at me because she said she could just see me head getting 10 times bigger than what it was before because we were sitting and some Icecream place eating our icecream and my car was parallel parked behind a really nice Chevy Nova SS. These two guys stopped to look at the Nova and then saw my car sitting behind it. They actually did a walk around of my car and cup their hands over the window to see the inside of it. All I could do was grin! Then when I was at my buddies house fixing my suspension the neighbors wife stopped over to check out the car. They own three BMW 3 series and she just fell in love with my car. Then I had two people who wanted to race me on the highway today. One was a WRX with some big ass intercooler up front and I knew I would have gotten spanked so I let him go. Another was an RSX but too much traffic and he probably would have beat me anyway. Also funny story I bumped into this girl at a traffic light who just moved into my apartment complex that has a 2000 solara with some rims. We talked briefly at the light. I didn't get a chance to tell her about solaraguy, but when I see her again Ill mention it to her. Sorry for the long typed messege so enjoy!
